The last term of 2017 was a very eventful one, not only because of the year’s end exams at school.

At the annual Artist Trail in September the girls took part in a cook and baking workshop. They were instructed how to make a pizza dough and could choose what they want to put on top. The highlight was that after baking everyone was allowed to take his own pizza home to eat it there! Yummi!

End of October the girls made a daytrip to Swakopmund at the coast sponsored by a donation. Most of the children have never seen the sea before so they were already very excited before the departure. They left Omaruru at 7 oçlock in the morning and arrived in Swakopmund after three hours. The coast was still misty but nevertheless evryone was delighted. After they got over their first fears, the girls slowly went to the water. More highlights were the visit of the National Aquarium and the Snake Park. After a refreshment at lunchtime they went to the beach. As you can see on the pictures they really had good fun!

Due to the support of Godparents we could organize a Christmas  Party shortly before the summer holiday. There was a lot of delicious food, the girls did sing Christmas songs and of course every child got a nice present. A succesful end of the schoolyear 2017!
